Are you a skilled Pizza Line Cook with a passion for creating delicious and authentic pizzas? Mentone, a passion project from Chef David Kinch, of Three Michelin Star, Manresa Restaurant, is seeking talented and dedicated individuals to join our team as a Part-Time Pizza Line Cook who is open to cross training. Located in Aptos, CA.Shifts are for the lunch shift:Saturday, Sundays, and Mondays ORWednesdays.Pay is $20 per hour plus tips! As a Pizza Line Cook at Mentone, you will work closely with our renowned chefs, led by the James Beard Award-winning Chef David Kinch, to craft waht we like to think of as a French/ItalianRiviera spin on coastal California cuisine,using high-quality, local ingredients. You will have the opportunity to advance your skills under skilled leadership in an inclusive and suportive environtment, with expansion opportunites for growth within the retraurant group, and potential leadership roles down the line. Responsibilities: Prepare and cook a variety of handcrafted doughs and pizzas to perfection Follow recipes and portion control guidelines accurately Ensure pizzas are cooked and served in a timely manner Maintain a clean and organized workstation Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations Adhere to all food safety and sanitation standards Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Pizza Line Cook Proficiency in working with pizza and using a wood fired pizza oven Strong knowledge of pizza, breads and dough production Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Availability to work part-time, specifically on weekends Base pay determined by experience, starting hourly wages are $20, plus tips.
